Six lucky kids who had the courage to send in home made video audition
tapes of themselves preparing a heart-healthy meal were chosen from hundreds of
entries. Our Keiki chefs and families are whisked away to Maui Hawaii
where they team up with celebrity chefs to compete for the title “Keiki
Ironchef”. A combination of Iron Chef for Kids and MTV’s Real World, the
cameras spend time with the young cast during their stay, capturing their
emotions, excitement, and the interaction with their families and other
contestants as they experience the weekend and it’s social events. Other
segments feature interviews with hosts and sponsors, some of the many
attractions that Ka’anapali and Maui have to offer including our host’s
property, restaurants, shopping, golf and more.
