Equipment Needed:
Frying Pan or Sautee Pan, Spatula, Knife, Cutting Board, Can opener, Shredder, Cookie Sheet, Stove Top, Oven
Ingredients:
14-ounces or ground turkey meat
1- Small onion finely chopped
1- Packet of taco seasoning
1- large tomato chopped
1- small head of Iceberg lettuce, shredded
1- cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
1/8- cup of sliced black olives 8 taco shells (hard or soft)
Homemade salsa optional (see above recipe) Hot Sauce (optional)
1- In frying pan over a medium heat add ground turkey meat and onion. Sautee meat and onions using spatula until meat is thoroughly cooked.
2- Add taco seasoning to ground turkey meat and onion and follow instructions on packet.
3- Put meat aside and cover to keep warm.
4- Set oven on low or warm and place taco shells in oven on a cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes or until warm.
5- When shells are done take out of oven and start to assemble tacos with the cooked and seasoned ground turkey, cheese, tomatoes, black olives, hot sauce (optional), homemade salsa (optional) and lettuce. Serves 4.
